Alaska Mountain Rescue Group (AMRG) is a nonprofit volunteer search and rescue organization based in Anchorage, Alaska, dedicated to providing search and rescue services in Alaska. Founded in 1960, the organization consists of dedicated, professional volunteers with extensive back country experience who train regularly to bring people who are lost, injured, stranded, or deceased back to their families.

Our planet’s food supply is absolutely dependent on pollination. One out of every three bites of food Americans consume come from a plant visited by bees or other pollinators. Honey bees pollinate essential crops critical to our good health and produce millions of dollars of honey every year.

Please join us to support the Save The Bee foundation. The funds raised will help support research at the Honey Bee Lab at Oregon State University, beekeeping classes and education and much more. 

Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop will have some very special baked goods to sell in support of Save the Bee. Please join us for a Wild Alaskan Fireweed sheet cake with a clover honey buttercream, a savory focaccia finished with a warm honey drizzle, and delicious honey shortbread cookies.

The Alaska Institute for Justice (AIJ) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the human rights of all Alaskans. Formerly known as the Alaska Immigration Justice Project, it transformed into the Alaska Institute for Justice to reflect the inclusion of an additional program dedicated to environmental and social justice issues, the Research and Policy Institute.

The goal of this fundraiser is to raise awareness around and financial support for an organization that reflects our values as a business and as citizens that human rights must be extended everyone, especially the most vulnerable among us.

The Island Hop is all about celebrating our community, gaining sunlight, and by supporting a local non-profit. This year all proceeds will go to the Seeds of Change, through Anchorage Community Mental Health Services. Thank you for engaging with your community!!

BBQ at FIRE ISLAND

This is a fundraiser to help send Carlyle to The Southern Foodways Allliance Fall Symposium in Oxford, Mississippi.  This incredible organisation documents, studies, and explores the diverse food cultures of the American South.  Our hopes are that he'll come back inspired with new ideas and a charming southern accent.   

The dinner will be inspired by Carlyle's background (hailing from South Carolina) and will center around the humanely raised pork of Robert Greg At Harmony Acres in Wasilla, AK.  The menu will feature pulled pork, ribs, cornbread, collards, coleslaw, banana pudding, ice tea and mint julips.

Tickets are limited to 24 people.
