We will also spend plenty of time practicing piping techniques to make rosettes, shells, roses, beading, and lettering. Finally, you will use all of these skills to adorn your cakes as you like. Participants will leave class with a cake of their own and the knowledge to decorate many more! Come have fun and let your creative side bloom!

BBQ at FIRE ISLAND

This is a fundraiser to help send Carlyle to The Southern Foodways Allliance Fall Symposium in Oxford, Mississippi.  This incredible organisation documents, studies, and explores the diverse food cultures of the American South.  Our hopes are that he'll come back inspired with new ideas and a charming southern accent.   

The dinner will be inspired by Carlyle's background (hailing from South Carolina) and will center around the humanely raised pork of Robert Greg At Harmony Acres in Wasilla, AK.  The menu will feature pulled pork, ribs, cornbread, collards, coleslaw, banana pudding, ice tea and mint julips.

Tickets are limited to 24 people.
